Bi-fold doors

The German Window Company are able to offer many different bi-folders doors and bi-fold door configurations (please refer to our variant plan) with both inward and outward opening options. The inward opening option has a tilt facility on the pedestrian door to ventilate the room without compromising security. Multi point locking secures the entire door complex.

Bi-fold doors come with a heavy-duty stainless steel tracking allowing the doors to concertina, making maximum use of the aperture.

Bi Fold Doors – Wood

RABAU bi-fold doors are made of solid Matoa hardwood, laminated in 3 layers to DIN 68602/B4.

Bi Fold Doors – Finish

The final paint or stain finish is low-maintenance, micro-porous, water-based, and complies with DIN 68085.

We use steps in our finishing process:

one coat of primer
one coat of pore filler
final finish coat.

Bi Fold Doors – Glazing

We use insulated acoustic double-glazed units to the following specification:

4/16/4 = 24 mm
U value = 1.1
Silicone caulk on the interior and exterior
Filled with argon gas
Pilkington K toughened glass
Laminate glass is an optional extra @ £20 per square metre
Draft control
Noise absorbent

Survey and installation add 20% + VAT
